infrared sauna therapy light delivers heat without the body having to get extremely hot. With a traditional dry sauna, temperatures reach as high as 185 to 195 degrees F, which can overwhelm those who are more sensitive to the heat. Not so with the infrared sauna. They use a much milder temperature environment between 120 to 150 degrees F. Because the heat of an infrared sauna travels much deeper into the body, it is able to cause a more vigorous sweat at lower temperature, allowing for a more enjoyable experience!
Adding Infrared Therapy to saunas has proven& far superior to those of a traditional sauna. So even though most saunas are beneficial, the good news is that with infrared you won’t experience that uncomfortable, over-heated feeling that you may feel from a traditional hot or dry sauna.
Far Infrared rays are the invisible light waves from the sun that used to generate heat from WITHIN the body. The infrared rays are a different wavelength of light. There is NO UV exposure. The traditional saunas generate heat from OUTSIDE the body. Therefore, there is a risk of overheating. The infrared wavelengths penetrate deeply into our bodies, typically by 2-3″ inches. This is very important! Infrared lights have been proven to penetrate far deeper than the heat would from a traditional sauna. By penetrating deeper into the body, infrared sauna allows for a greater detox experience on a CELLULAR level. This means deeper healing, health, and energy!
The use of heat therapy really isn’t new in the realm of the healing arts, but technological advances that capitalize on infrared energy have made it possible to generate heat in just the right spots with pinpointed precision, hence the advent of the infrared sauna.
There are three distinct types of infrared wavelengths that penetrate different layers in your body: near infrared, mid infrared, and far infrared. Because they penetrate the skin and cells at varying depths, each type of infrared provides different therapeutic benefits depending on its use.
